Known for her sculptures and installations, Nabuqi has continued to create paintings on paper for many years. The abstract patterns, often simple in shape and bright in color, are in fact her spatial delineation and reflection on paper, as well as a record of objects of interest, many of which are directly or implicitly linked to her three-dimensional works. In 2021, Nabuqi attempted to make prints of her paper paintings, reproducing them from one kind of graphic to another in a new way.
