Charwei Tsai is presenting her work ‘Circle II’ (2009, Video) as part of the group exhibition ‘Simple Shapes’ held at the Centre Pompidou, Metz in collaboration with the Fondation d’Entreprise Hermès. Curated by Jean de Loisy (President, Palais de Tokyo), Sandra Adam-Couralet (Independent Curator) and Mouna Mekouar (Curator, Palais de Tokyo), ‘Simple Shapes’ brings to the fore our fascination with simple shapes, from prehistoric to contemporary times, as well as reveals how these shapes have been decisive in the emergence of the Modern age.
