Edouard Malingue Gallery is pleased to announce Tromarama’s first solo show in Canada, ‘Amphibia’ at Centre A, Vancouver. Exploring the ever-narrowing gap between humans and technologies, the exhibition features 5 new works by the collective, alongside a cumulative, ongoing work ’24 hours being others’, created from interactive social media activity and audience responses.

Inspired by Amphibia, the type of animal able to live both in water and on land, Tromarama associate this hybridity with our new tendencies to live our lives both in the ‘real’ world, and through technologies online. Through animation, lenticular prints and video works, Tromarama tread the line between man and machine, considering the effects of technological integration.
