Edouard Malingue Gallery is delighted to share Chou Yu-Cheng’s public art project, ‘Bench x 1, Lights x 6, Square x 6, Round x 6 + 60 Chairs’ at Taipei National University of the Arts. Chou aims at exploring the concept of public art displayed in communal buildings by transforming the dormitory of the University with a series of carefully articulated furniture of elegance and practicality. The project infuses the existing concept of public space, functionality and aesthetics in its realization of form and content.
