Pleased to share Chou Yu-Cheng and Liu Xiaohui’s presentation in the group exhibition “Duration: Chinese Art in Transformation” at Mingsheng Art Museum, Beijing. Running through all the galleries and public spaces in the museum, the exhibition exhibits 95 pieces of works by 91 Chinese artists, including painting, sculpture, installation, video, animation and other media forms. On view are Chou Yu-Cheng’s ‘Chemical Gilding, Keep Calm, Galvanise, Pray, Gradient, Ashes, Manifestation, Unequal, Dissatisfaction, Capitalise, Incense Burner, Survival, Agitation, Hit, Day Light. V (Gradient Painting: Shenzhen Purple & Grey) ’(2019) and Liu Xiaohui’s ‘Untitled – Corridor 2014-2020’ (2014-2020). The exhibition, “Duration: Chinese Art in Transformation” is in itself, an experiment: an exploration and attempt with infinite possibilities of change, a concept of making the exhibition itself as a piece of ongoing artwork.
