Delighted to share Ho Tzu Nyen’s presentation in the exhibition ‘Chroniclers, Outside of Time’ at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MoCA) Busan. This exhibition aimed at taking a critical look at the aspect of multi-layered transition of the historical perception of our time by circumventing the method of describing the history of contemporary artists as the generation of post-memory, which is attempted under the technical and civilised conditions that operate modern society. In this exhibition Tzu presented his single channel video with LEDs, ‘The Critical Dictionary of Southeast Asia’ (2017, ongoing), ‘2 or 3 Tigers’ (2015), ‘CDOSEA: Dice Rhombicubotahedron’ (2019), and ‘CDOSEA: Square Stack (Faces)’ (2019).
