Los Carpinteros have been selected for the group exhibition ‘Atopy. Migration, Legacy, and Absence of Place’ at the Bogotá Museum of Modern Art. Drawing from the Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary (TBA21) Foundation’s collection, the show reflects upon the artistic narratives around the poetics of space, in particular Marc Augé’s notion of “non-place”. On display is Los Carpinteros’ installation ‘Frío estudio del Desastre’ (2005).
