Los Carpinteros have been selected to exhibit in ‘Cuban Forever’ at the Pizzuti Collection, Ohio that was inaugurated in 2013 to present through curated exhibitions the expansive contemporary art collection of Ron and Ann Pizzuti. ‘Cuban Forever’ features the diverse, rich, beautiful and compelling contemporary art of Cuba that is a central focus of Ron Pizzuti’s collection. In particular, Los Carpinteros will exhibit the sculpture ‘Kosmaj Toy’ (2012), which created entirely out of LEGO® bricks draws inspiration from the Serbian Kosmaj monument which, though now in a state of disrepair, was once a popular tourist site commemorating the fallen soldiers of the Kosmaj Partisan detachment from World War II.
