Los Carpinteros are exhibiting in the group show ‘Love’ at the Wilhelm-Hack Museum in Ludwigshafen, Germany. Co-curated by Barbara J. Scheuermann and Cathrin Langanke, the exhibition brings together artistic positions from the 1970s to today to examine how in contemporary visual art love tends to appear more rarely than other central issues of life, such as politics, work and power. Thus, despite a current intellectual distance from the ‘big feeling’, the show aims to highlight a series of very different perspectives on love, and draw a focus on its private and social effects.
