Thrilled to announce Phillip Lai’s nomination for the 2018 Hepworth Prize for Sculpture. Lai is one among the five artists nominated for this award. Lai approaches objects in a manner that appeals to, and reflects on their intrinsic existence and properties, altering or diverting them in altogether more abstract, minimalist ways.
