Delighted to share Samson Young’s presentation at ‘Mountain of Tongues’ a group exhibition investigating the manifestation of language through oral traditions and translations in the Caucasus region. Celebrating the complexity of distinct languages and cultures in the Caucasus region between Europe and Asia, the exhibition is devoted to the transmission of language and knowledge in this strategic geographical area, which Arab geographers called ‘Jabal Al-Alsun’ (or ‘Mountain of Languages’). On view is Samson’s ‘We Are the World, as performed by the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions Choir’ (2017).
