Samson Young is presenting ‘Nocturne’ at Fusebox Festival 2016, a multimedia live performance comprised of muted found footages of night bombings and live sound reproduction with household objects. Inspired by an American World War II tactical unit consisting largely of artists, known as the ‘Ghost Army’, Young divorces the sounds of war from their violent context and creates a captivating, sonorous and even beautiful piece of music.
