Delighted to share that this edition of ‘MAM Collection’ (Mori Art Museum Collection) will present Samson Young’s video and 12-channel sound installation, ‘Muted Situation #22: Muted Tchaikovsky’s 5th’, 2018, where an orchestra is shown performing a symphony, yet with the sound of the instruments “muted.” Instead, it presents another dynamic of only the rustling noises made by body movements not usually audible.
