Samson Young is presenting a solo exhibition ‘Orchestrations’, which marks the culmination of a year-long commissioned research and production project presented by Para Site. On view at Connecting Space, ‘Orchestrations’ starts from Young’s interest in the historical archetypes of community orchestras and the politics of the contemporary music notation system. The exhibition is curated by Qinyi Lim and developed in conversation with musicologist Dr. Giorgio Biancorosso.
