Pleased to share Sun Xun’s solo exhibition, ‘Sun Xun: Mythological Time’ at Vancouver Art Gallery. On view is the video installation ‘Mythological Time’ (2016) in which the artists takes viewers on a journey through his hometown of Fuxin in northern China, a coal-mining centre facing the depletion of its economic lifeblood. Additionally, being presented for the first time will be a major 30-metre ink painting.
