Sun Xun has been selected to exhibit at the Shanghai Biennale, ‘Social Factory’. Curated by Anselm Franke and a team of international curators, including Freya Chou, Cosmin Costinas and Liu Xiao, the 10th Biennale asks what characterises the production of the social, and how “social facts” are constituted. In particular, Sun Xun will create a site specific mural work and exhibit a video, both demonstrating his ongoing investigation of multiple histories.
