Sun Xun is participating in the group exhibition ‘Unscrolled’ at the Vancouver Art Gallery, Canada. ‘Unscrolled’ features three generations of Chinese artists who have been trained in both Western art history and Chinese tradition and who engage with their cultural past as a continuation into the contemporary. As well as showing an ink mural and animation ‘Ancient Film’ (2012) by Sun Xun, the exhibition will present new media forms by other artists such as Ai Weiwei, Chen Shaoxiong, Ji Yun Fei, Liu Jianhua, Jennifer Wen Ma, MadeIn Company, Qiu Shihua, Xu Bing and Zhang Enli.
