Wong Ping has been selected to screen his animated short, FRUITPUNCH – We Want More’, at the 3^rd Shenzhen Independent Animation Biennale, China. A music video for Hong Kong band FRUITPUNCH, ‘FRUITPUNCH – We Want More’ features Wong Ping’s signature vibrant colours and a style of animation that mimics retro video games. The Biennale seeks to compile a global collection of digital images by gathering projects from internationally renowned artists; and by consolidating film, video and animation into one spatial experience. Wong Ping’s film is being shown in the biennale’s special screening’s section, with Hong Kong-based artists’ collective, Videotage.
