Pleased to share Wong Ping’s presentation in the upcoming group show ‘Restless Matter’ at Cobra Museum of Modern Art. The exhibition looks at one of today’s most relevant debates about the future of our planet: how does the ever-advancing technology affect humanity? Does the horizon of our anthropocentric worldview come into view? These questions, prompted by crises like climate change and global inequality as the result of global capitalism, beg thinkers, scientists and artists to look into alternative scenarios for our relationship with nature, matter and objects, and look beyond the horizon of human presence on earth. On view is Wong Ping’s single channel animation, ‘Wong Ping’s Fables 1’ (2018).
