On the occasion of the fifth edition of West Bund Art & Design, independent Swiss Haute Horlogerie manufacturer Audemars Piguet unveils Sun Xun’s ‘Time Spy’, a 3-D animation work created by the Chinese artist for Audemars Piguet Art Commission.

Sun Xun, whose expressionistic work blends ancient and cutting-edge artistic techniques, created ‘Time Spy’ for the Audemars Piguet Art Commission. A ten-minute stop-animation film, ‘Time Spy’ was part of a large-scale immersive multimedia art installation ‘Reconstruction of the Universe’ and is composed of 10,000 woodcuts, which tells a story about cosmology, the metaphysics of time, and personal history.
