Two of Wong Ping’s short animations have been selected for screening at Torino Graphic Days, an international festival solely dedicated to visual design. ‘Prada Raw Avenue’ is Wong Ping’s contribution to Prada’s animated campaign, an eclectic series of animated illustrations, presented as a virtual catwalk starring the ‘Prada Raw’ sunglasses collection. Wong Ping’s unique response hints at a slightly uneasy narrative in which the model is admired from afar. A music video for Hong Kong band FRUITPUNCH, ‘FRUITPUNCH – We Want More’ features Wong Ping’s signature vibrant colours and a style of animation that mimics retro video games. Torino Graphic Days is a four-day event that includes workshops, speeches, performances, exhibitions and DJ sets to promote the cultural value of visual communication.
